Salvage Station Asheville, NC Words & Photos by Alan Crandall ( Rocky Mountain Jams ) The Devon Allman Project played a full show to an exuberant and intimate audience at the Salvage Station, in Asheville, on Sunday, June 12. The show was a one off headlining concert in the middle of their 3 week east coast tour. The tour continues after the Salvage Station show with many co-headlining dates with Samantha Fish. Devon Allman after a few beginning sound tweaks played a great show with support of a guitarist, bass player, keyboard player and two percussionists. Allman has the looks and voice to honor his Allman Brothers father, Gregg. The band's setlist was a mix of Devon Allman songs, covers and a few Allman Brother tunes. It was refreshing to see the hard driving rock guitar, and in the Allman Brothers covers the guitar licks were note for note spot on.
